Sounds like a set up for a metaphorical discussion about the meaning of life and my place in the world, doesn’t it?
Well, If you ventured onto this page, then i count you as a buddy, particularly since spending time on a site you stumbled or googled onto ain’t all that common. The quick in-out as Alex from “A Clockwork Orange” might have said.
I was an attorney, am a teacher and professor, and a writer. The latter seems to be more of a state of being that an occupation - especially since it definitely isn’t paying the bills - but a joy nonetheless.
I love being spiritual - but it is generally the result of great focus and attention. If I lose this focus - baaad things, indeed! Does that make me normal?
I believe in the ability to manifest intentions. Why it happens, and how one responds to the arguments against it, I have my opinions…but it really doesn’t matter!
My arguments for: I’ve gotten everything I have ever asked for…Good AND Bad! In my youth, I swore I would never play the lottery, because I would win…and living in a world that magical would be kinda creepy. Of course, once my life involved others, I learned fear. Once you start to feel the fear, doubt creeps in…and the stage is set for drama. Slowly, set backs occur, learning experiences are interpreted as failures, and that black sucking quagmire called modern living!
Focus. Inhale the world’s suffering….exhale loving kindness….ahhhh…..that’s better.
I have had great teachers…I want to share what I have learned…I want to learn more.
