NLP and Anthony Robbins
The main tenets of NLP are discussed in the book, Unlimited Power by Anthony Robbins, which you can read at the bottom of this page. I characterize NLP as the secular translation of the Law of Attraction. It restates the Law in modernized terms which made it more palatable to people in the nineties - hungry for spirituality packaged differently than most religious teachings.
Does It Work?
I believe in this stuff. I rejected it as snake oil when first presented with it fifteen years ago. However, those I observed who followed the teachings of NLP and the Law of Attraction inevitable achieved material success (although I will say the people I know who were disciples of NLP did have significant spiritual deficiencies.
