Adam Milstein is a vibrant humanitarian, investor in real estate, and a leader in community. Born in Israel, he graduated in 1978 from Technion. Adam earned an MBA upon his arrival in 1981 in the US. He began a profession in 1983 in Southern of California as Commercial Real Estate. Adam is a Managing Partner at a private commercial real estate investment firm, Hager Pacific Properties.
Several individuals approached campus offering jobs before Adam graduated. He realized they didn’t appreciate the experience in life, knowledge, etc. He was offered less than what undergraduate students were making so he made a decision to venture into self-employment and started working as a real estate retail dealer. He ventured into real estate after being an agent for three years.
When starting a corporate, what your day will look like is unknown to you. There is more organization as you attain more properties and more activities are completed. For many years, Adam Milstein appreciated that getting involved in charity is more satisfying to a person’s day-to-day job.
On how to make ideas work, Milstein emphasizes on the need to push until they become a reality. He does it himself if it can’t be done by someone else. He doesn’t let anything fall through the cracks by constantly following-up on progress on a daily basis.
When asked what he would do in a different way, if he were to start again, he confidently states that he believes the choices he made were right.
The thing he would do again as an entrepreneur and recommend everyone else to try is being part of solving the problem. Understand the problem and strategize the answer. One cannot rely on other people so always know the problem yourself.
The business idea that he willingly shares with future entrepreneurs is to diligently follow up with every lead and contact. One of the people that have motivated Adam Milstein is his partner David Hager. This is because he’s smart, uses psychology, is two steps ahead of the competition and an excellent thinker. His partner is also a visionary who has a good view of the world and economics.
